What Does Mixed Reality Imply?

You may be thinking, What does mixed reality mean ? Mixed reality originates from a 1994 work titled A Taxonomy of Mixed Reality Visual Displays by Paul Milgram and Fumio Kishino. The authors of this work investigated the application of the notion of a virtuality continuum to displays. I have included a link to this paper after this module.
